PENGEMBANGAN KEBERLANJUTAN USAHA BATIK TULIS TANAH LIEK BERBASIS INOVASI TEKNOLOGI HIJAU KOTO BARU KABUPATEN SOLOK

Abstract

Industry in Indonesia has an important role in regional economic development. This is proven that in 2021 the industry has contributed around 99.7 percent, the workforce that can be absorbed reaches 66.25 percent and the contribution of gross domestic product is 61.07 percent. However, currently the problem that is faced by most of these home industries is limited capital, due to difficulties in obtaining funds so that the funds available are only for daily production cycles. Furthermore, the Batik Tulis Tanah Liek business actor in Solok district still uses traditional technology where many workers are women, while the men are not productive in carrying out economic activities. One of the uniqueness of this business is the clothing coloring materials used, namely ground like and jengkol skin. The purpose of this activity is to increase the potential that exists in the community in planning for problem solving. Through this community service activity, it also adds knowledge and insight for lecturers on how the operational activities of the Tanah Liek batik business are environmentally friendly. Judging from the development of this batik business, it is in great demand by consumers if there are national events, but the Tanah Liek batik business still faces limitations in terms of funds so that it encounters difficulties in developing its business.
