Inklusi Pembelajaran Reflektif dan Berpikir Kritis Untuk Peningkatan Literasi Digital Masyarakat

Abstract


Digital literacy is the ability to use digital technology effectively and critically. In Indonesia, the level of digital literacy is a significant concern, especially in terms of knowledge and skills. Although many Indonesians have internet access, their digital skills are often limited to basic tasks such as using social media or certain applications. It is necessary to make improvements in crucial areas including information verification, privacy awareness, and internet security. Improving digital literacy in Indonesia requires collaboration between the government, private sector, educational institutions, and society. Comprehensive educational programs and broader access to digital resources are critical to developing better digital literacy skills, wise use of technology, and confidence in facing digital challenges. The education sector plays a vital role in developing digital literacy. Integrating digital literacy into the curriculum and developing critical thinking skills in educational settings is an important step. This community service at Bina Harapan Vocational School, Sleman Yogyakarta, includes lectures and mentoring for vocational school students. The evaluation results show an increase in digital literacy competency among students. The benefits of this program include increased digital literacy, social inclusion, and awareness of digital ethics and security. Sustaining development requires community support, parental involvement, and follow-up activities.
